J Salvador is a lifelong artist best known for creating Super Emo Friends, a pop art series he’s been selling at conventions since 2009. With a background in illustration and painting, he began studying tattooing in Thailand, quickly picking up the craft. Tattooing has become a powerful expansion of his creative work, allowing him to bring heartfelt visuals directly to skin. J. is currently a featured artist at Teocalli Galeria Tattoo Studio, as J Salamander, where he continues to explore storytelling through ink, blending personal symbolism with his signature style.

First year I was doing house calls. It didn’t matter where I was there because I was dedicated to the craft. I wanted to learn….. then my second year when Covid hit I got me a bus which I converted into a tattoo shop and I’ve been working out of the Bus ever since Now I feel like I wanna continue my Tattoo journey and work with other artists and build a solid team What about 5 years of experience dedicated with passion and love for tattoing present with good and clean energy on every project now tattooing at teocalli.
